Your decadent night out in New Orleans begins with boarding the Steamboat Natchez in the French Quarter. The authentic paddle-wheel steamboat is the only one still operating on the mighty Mississippi River today. Pose for a photo as you board -- you'll receive a print as a souvenir of this exclusive experience that can only be booked through Viator!
Uniformed ship staff will greet you with a Champagne cocktail served in a glass etched with an image of the Steamboat Natchez that's yours to keep. Then, follow your officer of the vessel guide on an exclusive private tour of the boat and its impressive, museum-quality engine room. Feel free to ask questions and take photos as you tour the magnificent steamboat.
Afterward, take your reserved seat and listen to the live jazz band, Dukes of Dixeland. As you listen to the Grammy-nominated group play, enjoy a shrimp cocktail and glass of house wine. Then load up on scrumptious Louisiana favorites including Fil□ Gumbo and Louisiana style fish at the dinner buffet. What a great experience. The welcome onto the boat was seamless and easy. The jaz band was excellent. The food was excellent with a wide choice. The service was impecable and the tour of the engine appealed to the kid in me that loves engines. Highly recommended ecperience

I always wanted to take a steamboat ride down the Mississippi. The food was on point. The crew was great. My server always found me walking about the decks to keep me informed. That felt special. The sound of the band playing put a smile on my face. I love live instruments. The whole experience was great. I didn't get to enjoy the delicious food because I ate at the Saints game. I feel a need to visit again and do it all over.

We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the Jazz band was perfect and very animated.We were given a tour by the captain who absolutely loves his job and has been there 44 years.We would recommend the cruise for any Age group

Went for the VIP experience and it was worth it. Captain Steve gave us a tour of the engine room and the history of the boat. Girls from the tour agency were great. Friendly helpful and their service was great. Food was very tasty and a lot of it. On the VIP experience you get your food first and avoid the long lines. Bananas Foster yumm. The goody bag to take home was the final touch. The souvenior picture, a cd of the dixieland bank cookbooks spices. Just gret....
