    This2-hour swamp tourof New Orleans starts with pickup from your downtown hotel. After a 35-minute drive by air-conditioned van, you'llarrive at your destination. Meet your airboat captain and settle intoyour seat on the 16-passenger vessel, then prepare for a wild rideinto the swamp.
    Powered by a 454 Chevy engine and propelled by huge fans, the airboat travels atspeeds up to 25 miles perhour (40 kph). Thecaptain performs exhilaratinghigh-speed maneuvers,cruises at gentlespeeds, and makes plenty of photo stops while narrating on the wildlife and local flora. Alligator sightings are common in these waters, but your guide is trained to ensuresafety at all times during this family-friendly outing.
    After your tour concludes, relax withtransport back to your hotel inNew Orleans.

    Captain Ernie gave us an excellent tour of the swamps and a great understanding of alligator habitat and the surrounding ecology. You can tell he really cares about them.

    Our driver had a degree in science and knew his stuff. Funny, knowledged, answered everyones question. It was a beautiful day and a great ride. Saw lots of alligators and it was so beautiful back in the swamp. Loved every second of it. Also appreciated being picked up and dropped off at our hotel.

    Started out with rain but within a few min. it was gone and the ride was great. We got up close to the friends of the water. would recommend the 16 rider boat. Cheaper and you still see what everyone else does.
