    產品介紹

Hotel pick up and transportation from downtown New Orleans is included with this tour. This tour combines both the Oak Alley and Laura Plantation tours in one day. Pick up time is 10:30am and your group should arrive about 12:15pm at Oak Alley Plantation, where you will have an hour of free time to get lunch (own expense) and walk the beautiful grounds. The Oak Alley house tour starts at 1:30pm and ends at 2:15pm. From there you will take a short 10 minute drive to Laura Plantation, where the tour begins at 2:40pm. You will return to New Orleans around 6pm.
Oak Alley Plantation was built in 1837 and has 28 evenly spaced Oaks that line a 1/4 mile path from River Road to the plantation house. There are additional attractions on the grounds including a restaurant, cafe and gift shop. The choice is yours how you would like to use your free hour.
Laura Plantation was built and operated by four Creole women. The main house burned down in 2003, an exact replica was built using wood and materials from other antique buildings. The rebuilding of the plantation house is a story in itself. Slave quarters are a part of this unique tour.

The Oak Alley and Laura combo is a good idea money and time wise. Oak Alley offers a breathtaking view because of its magnificent oak trees. That said, since it's very popular is hard to enjoy the visit. The inside tour didn't allow for time to even take a peak of the upstairs rooms which was a disappointment. On the other hand the Laura tour was inspiring and thought provoking. It was a smaller group and our guide Rose was knowledgeable and shared the rich history of the Plantation's inhabitants, including the enslaved. I highly recommend that you visit the Laura Plantation!

Oak Alley was very good, but at the Laura plantation tour they grouped way too many people together.

Would recommend this trip. Both tours guides were very knowledgable.

Everything about this tour was fantastic - from the transportation to the tour guides. Oak Alley Plantation was more about putting you in the time and telling you about it. The tour guides wear period dress and talk almost as if they know the characters. The Laura Plantation tour is more about Creole history and facts. Both tour guides were very passionate about their subject and you can tell they are concerned about the preservation of the history of this part of Louisiana.

Very interesting tour with two very different plantations. Guides knew the history and a young fellow at tha Laura just radiated a love of what he was doing.

    Good day trip.
The bus picked me up on time and the journey to and from the plantations was good. The two plantations are both really beautiful and very interesting in their own different ways.

Oak Alley is a great plantation to visit. You can wander around the grounds as you wish having a look at all the exhibitions which include replica slave cabins and a video about sugar cane and process. The Oak Alley where the plantation is name from is very impressive. There is a guided tour around the house which is very interesting and our guide Gail was very good, informative and answered all our questions easily. The building is really beautiful and has been restored very well.

Laura is a very beautiful building and the architecture is fascinating if you like stuff like that, the plantation history and that of the Ramon family is very interesting. The buildings have been restored and kept very well and you can really understand how they lived back in the day. Our guide Krystyna was very friendly, very knowledgeable and made the stories very interesting making you want to know more.

Great way to spend a day learning about the history of this part of the world.
