Board a mini-coach outside your New Orleans hotel and start your 2.5-hour tour with a drive to the French Quarter, where you’ll find some of the city’s most classic architecture and interesting history.
Drive past Creole townhouses and shotgun homes, a highly popular style of Southern homes in the early 1860s. Peek into courtyards and pass by small shops selling herbs, candles, oils and amulets used in ancient voodoo traditions and rituals. A highlight of the French Quarter is Jackson Square, a stately park and US National Historic Landmark.
Pass through the neighborhood of Trem□ and the lovely Garden District, home to one of the country's best-preserved collections of Southern mansions. Here you’ll see the longest bridge in the world, the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway.
Next, take a walking tour one of the city’s most haunted cemeteries, St Louis Cemetery No. 3, featuring above-ground tombs from the 18th and 19th centuries. Learn about the theories behind this unusual burial custom as you stroll the grounds, and hear stories about famous figures from New Orleans' past.

A great way to get an overview of the city when you arrive. It's all minibus based so suitable for those who can't walk far. There was a brief coffee stop in city park and we went through French quarter, 9th district, garden district and up to city park and past Audubon park and the Universities. We stopped at Metairie cemetery not Louis number one, I think because of new restrictions on access, but you can drive through Metairie and it is bigger. Our tour guide, Jason, was knowledgeable and entertaining. I had booked the 730am trip but it got cancelled that morning and I was put on the 11am pick up - Cajun tours were able to pick up at the Omni royal Orleans hotel where I was staying. I got back for the steamboat Natchez cruise at 2.15.

I was a bit dissapointed in this tour. One of the reason why I booked it was because I thought we were going to the St. Louis cemetery. I wanted a tour of the city and a history briefing but really wanted to go to that particular cemetery. However, Jason was awesome and I enjoyed everything else.

The vendor providing this tour should have been honest and cancelled it. Because it was close to Mardi Gras, many roads were blocked off because of parades, so she could not navigate the streets. She was delayed picking everyone up and when we got on she told us we could not go in the French Quarter because of road closures. By the time we negotiated the streets, the cemeteries were closed, so no walking tour. She pulled over, told a story or two while we looked from the highway through the fence... that was it. Then again, because of road closures, we got stuck in the Garden District, u turning, and driving back and forth trying to get out of the area. She could not figure out how to get out of the neighborhood. When the time was up, she just stopped talking to us and for over an hour we just drove around. Did I mention it was pouring? Well, she couldn't figure out how to get back to the hotels. Most on the tour got off far away from their stops, and eventually we did too, running through the rain for at least 15 minutes making our way back to the hotel. Total time of tour was from 2:30 until we finally just jumped off and ran at 7 p.m. We understand that she can't control the weather or the traffic... but knowing that the roads had been like this for weeks, we would have expected that either they would have figured out a route, or they would have cancelled the tour! We would have found something else to do!! Terrible, and would never recommend.

The city tour part of the tour was worthwhile. Our guide, Rene, has a good knowledge of the city. He was very accommodating dropping us on Canal St so we had a short walk to our restaurant. The cemetery part of the tour was lacking. It was a very short visit to St. Louis Cemetery 3. A more extended visit to one of the more famous cemeteries would has made tour special.

Our driver; Jason did a great job. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We got to see all the major points of interest of New Orleans as well as its cemeteries. A little history and culture lesson was also provided. Great tour.

Very good. We were well informed about all the major areas of New Orleans with lots of facts. Will recommend to others.

This tour provided a general view of the city. It showed us the different areas of the city so we can then decide what to come back and explore more on our own. The tour guide was a local person well informed and very entertaining. The bus was very comfortable with plenty of windows so there was not a bad seat on the bus.

This was a fantastic tour and our tour guide, Renee, was very knowledgable and knew the city like the back of his hand. I would highly recommend this tour!
