Meet at 10:00am for training. After watching a short saftey video, get fitted out in styling safety vests and helmets (you may bring your own bicycle or skateboard helmet) and we'll teach you how to glide on a Segway!
The tour starts on Waterfront Park, where you will peep at the Amistad, a replica of the (in)famous slave ship, which is spending the summer in New London. Next you'll glide out to Fort Trumbull, a gorgeous Egytpian Revival structure from the 1800s, which together with its counterpart across the river, Fort Griswold, guarded the access to the port of New London during the American Revolution and the War of 1812. You'll glide along lovely paths around the fort and by the water, and even out onto the fishing pier, depending on how the catch is going. You'll even hear a bit about Benedict Arnold and his calamitous visit in 1781.
Then it's back downtown past shops, restaurants, monuments and murals. The tour time is one hour and the entire adventure takes approximately 1.5 hours, so you'll be done just in time for lunch.行程概要出發地點
