After pickup from your Nashville hotel, board the General Jackson Showboat, one of the largest paddle-wheel boats in the country, and travel down the Cumberland River. This grand vessel was designed to recreate the showboats that plied the waters of American rivers in the 19th century.
Admire views of the Nashville landscape as you relax on the indoor or outdoor decks. In the beautiful Victorian theater on board, you’ll feast on a traditional Southern meal. For sample lunch and dinner menus, see the Itinerary section below.
You’ll then be treated to live entertainment! On the lunch cruise, enjoy a comedy production full of classic Southern humor. On the dinner cruise, enjoy a live orchestra accompanied by a dynamic cast of dancers in elaborate costumes.

The boat was nice and the trip down the river was great. The food was mediocre. The show was ok but kind of boring. The waiters were efficient. I done think I would go again.

We arrival one hour early for the cruise, on checking in they ask us if we had heard there was a problem with the boat, we said no we had not heard a word about problem. We were told the ship could not leave the dock because of problems. They told us we still would receive a meal and the entertainment would still go on, they added we would receive $25.00 back per ticket. We were not told if we choose not to go we could receive all our money back. The more I think about it, them offer me $25.00 back on the price we paid for the tickets, OVER $125.00. I receive a call from the cruise people on my cell today, it was made to me three hours before we were to leave the dock. I receive the message today , Sunday the 14th on my cell recorder. The food was ok and the entertainment was good but not worth over $100.00 They give every person who purchase a ticket at our choice a free ticket plus the $25;00. This took place October 13th at night.

We did the luncheon cruise and had a wonderful meal and great entrainment. Just with there was a little more activity out on the decks.

Wonderful show and great service. Just the right length of time with enough free time to explore. The food was very good, and we had interesting conversation with our table mates.

The show was foot stumping and the food was great. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. But be prepared for it to be hot and humid in July.

I went on this lunch tour and took my sister with me and we had a wonderful time and great food and the show was awesome .. I would go again if I go to Nashville again it was one of our best experiences ..

The food and the show were great! The views of Nashville were beautiful! The dinner cruise was a great way to end your day! The staff was very nice. Highly recommend!

Food was hot and very good, especially the pulled pork. We were too far away for them to pick us up at hotel, there should be a discount for that.

Everything great. But next time would like to be seated in front of the stage instead of along side of it!.
