After making your own way to the meeting point in central Moab, your guide takes you by 4WD vehicle about 30 miles (48 km) to reach the Island in the Sky section of Canyonlands National Park. (Below the Island in the Sky mesa sits the White Rim formation, an expansive rock terrace located about 1,000 feet (300 meters) above the Colorado and Green Rivers and the same impressive distance below the mesa. In this rock wilderness, big horn sheep traverse rocky ledges sprinkled with pi on and juniper forest. Your guide takes the White Rim Road, which gives you awe-inspiring views of the Colorado River below on one side and the cliffs of Dead Horse Point rising on the other side, framed by the blue desert sky.
This rugged portion of the 25-mile (40-km) White Rim Road loop offers incredible views around every bend. Explore more of this amazing landscape on several short optional hikes just beneath the White Rim Sandstone level. Follow your guide on moderately challenging hikes to caves, caverns and breathtaking viewpoints over the mighty Colorado River. Or simply relax near the vehicle and soak up the views.
You also visit park treasures such as Gooseneck overlook, Lathrop Canyon, Musselman Arch and the famous Shafer Trail, which follows a series of switchbacks down to the Colorado River corridor.
Your full-day tour includes a stop for a delicious buffet-style picnic lunch accompanied by cold water and lemonade. At the end of an unforgettable day, your guide returns you to Moab to end your tour.行程概要出發地點

A very fun trip I hope to repeat. Everything was well taken care of for us.

Our guide was great. The White Rim Trail was spectacular. The problem was the vehicle. Three out of four us were six feet tall or taller. The right front seat was stuck in its full back position. So whoever sat behind that seat had minimal legroom. It was quite uncomfortable. Even if the front seat could have been moved four passengers is one too many for a comfortable trip. The. vehicle's air conditioner couldn't cool the vehicle. It was in the high 90s and quite uncomfortable. At the end it was more comfortable to,open the windows.

Worth every cent. The guide was knowledgeable, laid back and willing to stop at any point for photographs or just to look. Lunch was quite adequate and unhurried, and the scenery is breathtaking. Highly recommended.

This was the tour of a lifetime. Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and courteous. He took us places we never dreamed we would get to see. I would recommend this tour, and Mike, to anyone and everyone.

awesome. it was like being in Zeus and Hercules playland. NAVTEC did an excellent job in driving the backroads and showing us so many wonderful things in nature. wonderful lunch. Anything less than the full day would not be worth it as it takes a while to get anywhere in the back woods, but once there it is so worth it. plenty of fluids, excellent food, even took care of our son who developed motion sickness due to back seat riding.

learned so much about the rock types. enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the river. saw mountain sheep up on the rim. So beautiful. When I looked at the map later I realized we had only seen a small corner of this wonderful country!!! Means we'll go back exploring more!!

Navtec Moab gave us exceptional tour and they put themselves out to make sure it happened for us. Our driver and guide Mike was a great guy. He drove with immense skill Toyota Landcruiser and was so knowledgable about everything we were doing and seeing. We learnt so much! Lunch by the Colarado was a treat. Plenty of time throughout the day to get out and explore places there's no way you'd see otherwise. Went deep down into the canyons and way up on top of the Rim. As I said we learned so much about the geology of the place that it actually enhanced the rest of our holiday. Couldn't recommend this tour enough, we absolutely loved it. Be sure to ask for Mike, he was a pleasure to send the day with.
