Full of Memphis’ best-known sites, the downtown loop starts at the Visitors Center on Riverside Drive, where Downtown Memphis touches the Mississippi River and will wind you through the South Main Historic District, past the National Civil Rights Museum, past Cotton Row and down Beale Street. You'll finish your run in Tom Lee Park on the river. Note: In the Month of May, the "Memphis In May" festival has a detour around Tom Lee Park, as it's fenced off for that month's events.
