The city’s South Main Historic District an eclectic, colorful area with some of the city’s oldest buildings has a long history of sensational murders and ghostly activity. On this two-hour walking tour, you'll visit a number of haunted sites, including:
" The Orpheum Theater, home of "Mary," who has haunted performances since 1921
" The John Alexander Austin House, a Victorian era mansion haunted by star-crossed lovers

I wanted to leave this review for those who are not sure about these types of attractions so here goes,first our Tour guide Chelsea was absolutely amazing she was energetic,excited and very thorough with the information shared and because of that it really kept us engaged with the tour and not only did we get to hear the awesome ghost stories but she filled us in a little on some of the other historical events that took place.The second thing I wanted to share was how awesome they were to me because my original tour was scheduled for a Saturday and my son ended up in the hospital that night so they were very understanding and graciously rescheduled with no problem,I would definitely recommend this tour and ask for Chelsea!

This tour was very interesting thanks to our tour guide. He shared a lot of history along with the ghost stories. Fun time.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Memphis. Ghost stories were few and far between. It was more a historical tour than ghost tour. There was too much lag time and guide really didn't watch whole group but conversed with a couple of young women throughout. We wouldn't book this tour again as we've had better ones in Nashville and New Orleans.

Our guide on the ghost tour was knowledgeable enough and answered all questions without any hesitation. Some of the tour was interesting but not what we expected. I had my granddaughter with me. She is very much into ghosts and supernatural. However, this tour was not into much of that and as I said before, just not what we expected.

Very nice tour. No ghosts, not even a hint, but the stories were interesting, and it was a good historic background of Memphis. Our tour guide was great, and we had a good time.

One of the better ghost tours I have taken. One of the people caught the ghost orbs in her camera. Very good and good guide.

It is a lot of walking! Memphis is not so scary and the guide/storyteller did not help it along. Charleston, SC has a lot more creep factor to offer making this one a bit boring and disappointing.
