Early-morning pickup is available at the Los Angeles Farmers Market or the Four Points by Sheraton in Culver City. Once you’ve boarded your comfortable air-conditioned coach, relax on the approximate 120-mile (193-km) drive east to Palm Springs.
When you arrive, take a narrated city tour to learn about this luxurious desert city. Pass numerous golf courses and learn about famous celebrities, such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe and Barbara Streisand, who have called this place home.
The highlight of your time in Palm Springs is your ride aboard the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which gives you amazing aerial views of the city and sprawling desert below, as well as the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon.
After your ride, visit Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, a public desert botanical garden and zoo where you’ll experience first-hand how vibrant and alive the world's deserts really are. See animals from deserts around the world such as giraffes, zebras, mountain lions and coyotes, as well as lesser-known animals such as the Fennec fox with its distinctive large ears which serve to dissipate heat.
Back aboard the coach, make your way to El Paseo, known as the Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert. Break for lunch in this upscale shopping district (own expense) before driving past homes of Hollywood stars that are scattered throughout the valley.
Finally, arrive at Desert Hills Premium Outlets for some free time to shop. Snag great bargains on your favorite designers as you browse some of the 130 brand-name stores including Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Last Call by Nieman Marcus, Polo Ralph Lauren, Prada and Versace.

Chose this tour as we wanted to ride The Aerial Tramway but we weren't told until the morning of the tour that it was closed for it's annual service! Big disappoinment for us.
However, we loved Palm Springs, The Living Desert and the Outlet shopping parts of this tour. But would suggest you make sure the Aerial ride is open before you book it. -
What a wonderful experience! I was the only person on the tour, and thought it would be cancelled but no, I had a very enjoyable trip all to myself! Jacob was certain to fit in as many sites as possible. The tour included more activities than I expected, it was fantastic value for money!

Very well organised, our tour guide Richard as shown in the picture was very friendly and resourceful, and the driver made all of us feel absolutely safe and enjoyable!
They really treated us as their friends, they absolutely went extra miles to do their jobs much better than expected. Mercedes Business Van was used for this trip, which was really comfortable with the authentic leather seat cover.All 6 of us truly appreciated their service.

I thought the tour was a bit disorganised. It went well over time and by the time we got to the top of the Sky Tram it was dark so we couldn't see much. Waisted time stopping at a restaurant is Desert Springs.

This was a great day. The only thing I'd change is maybe to have some time to walk round Palm Springs instead of seeing it mostly from the bus. Richard was a great guide and had a lot of knowledge of the area and the history. The outlets were great, but you'd need a whole day to get to all the shops. A really enjoyable day!

Palm Springs tour was awesome. What a great experience in the air tram at Mt. San Jacinto. There were only two of us plus tour guide on the tour. Now that was too cool. It was almost like a private tour. The zoo was a lot of fun too. I took the opportunity to feed the giraffe and have pictures taken. Extremely enjoyable.
If someone has trouble walking, make certain you take advantage of the tram at the zoo 6. It does not tour the zoo, just takes you to certain stops that will save you a few steps and you can get on and off as much as you like. At beautiful Mt. San Jacinto you can walk a paved trail and it is a bit steep going up and down. On the sky tram at the mountain, passengers stand and if you don't have great balance there are a couple of short benches for someone to sit. It is a little difficult to hold on to the railings because the floor rotates.
Overall this was an outstanding tour. and I highly recommend it.

Jacob did a great job as tour guide with a vast knowledge of Palm Springs. Was a great day trip. Tramway and Living Desert Park were two highlights. Highly recommended.

We could barely understand our guide!! we had a German couple with us and they had the same problem.
we tried to avoid any questions or comments as we could rarely understand his reply...
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway was the best part of this tour with amazing views, the Desert Zoo and Gardens were unbearably hot, but we got some nice deals from the Outlet.
