After morning pickup from your Los Angeles hotel or TCL (formerly Grauman's) Chinese Theatre, travel approximately 90 miles (145 km) to Carlsbad and enter LEGOLAND, a theme park based on the famous toy bricks.
Visit more than 50 park attractions at your own pace during your nearly eight hours at the park (see Itinerary for select attractions). Afterward, relax and reminisce about the day with your family during the ride back to Los Angeles. Your 11-hour day trip to the amusement park ends with drop-off at your hotel.

Pirate Shores (
Guaranteed to shiver yer timbers, Pirate Shores presents four all-new water attractions with captivating high-seas adventures that will thrill buccaneers of all ages. Experience Splash Battle with its ship-themed vehicles that put you behind your own water cannon as you navigate through pirate-infested waters. Hold on to your tattered pirate hat because at Treasure Falls mini-water flume ride you will drop in ─ nearly 12 feet (3.6 meters) ─ on a few vacationing pirates. Younger kids can play in the crystal-clear waters at Swabbies Deck where they are surrounded by pop-up water jets, playful water fountains and delightful squirt cannons. More adventurous family members will discover Soak-N-Sail, which features more than 60 interactive gadgets and devices pumping and spraying hundreds of gallons of water.

Great tour! Driver picked us up on time and in a clean van. On the 2 1/2 hour trip from LA to LEGOLAND, we talked about all sorts of things: CA's economy, immigration, traffic on roads, the things we were passing, etc. Once at LEGOLAND he dropped us off near the main gate, gave us instructions as to where to go, and told us where and when to meet him at the end of the day. The ride back was only 1 1/2 hours, as the traffic was lighter.
