Gain insight into the darker side of Hollywood on this afternoon tour departing from Sunset Boulevard. Your Director of Undertakings will guide you through decades' worth of death, murder and just plain fun. Once your tour, um . . . departs, hear tales of tinseltown tragedies in the cool comfort of your luxurious bus, aka the Tomb Buggy.

This is my second time on the tour and I loved it the first time. Recommend to my mom and mother in law so I brought them and went again. One of the things that drew me towards the tour was the amount of respect you have for the dead. Some of these jokes made on the tour this time around were very much the opposite. Jokes at the dead’s expense was a bit distasteful, and I love a crued joke but these were not funny. With the amount of care and respect it takes to accumulate all these artifacts and history of real people who many have died horrible deaths you’d think the tour would reflect that respect. I still very much love this tour but I was disappointed this time around by the amount barrel scrapping for jokes

Our guide was very knowledgeable on a tour that takes you to the dark side you could say of Los Angeles and celebrities!

Usually a tour totally depends on the guide and this tour by the time it finished I wished I had been the dearly departed because I had lost the will to live as did the five other people I had taken with me and recommended the tour to based on previous reviews on here and elsewhere. The tour guide could not understand the meaning of taking a pause when talking and rambled on and on about nothing and who he met that was famous and the video footage he took of one star who was drunk but at the time he was employed in a capacity of trust but decided to film her on his mobile anyway, and may consider releasing it for money which he thought was funny, it wasn't, only a scumbag would do that. So there's the company we were in. This tour is tasteless and disrespectful and they seem happy to hide behind the fact that we all knew what we were in for. We couldn't have envisioned the pain we endured inside that bus for three hours. It thrives on the misery of others and think its somehow funny. This tour could be improved on, reduced by an hour, but our guide destroyed it. Terribly disappointed.

A very interesting tour, with a very informative and knowledgable tour guide. It was also sad and creepy as would be expected on a tragic history tour.

Our Tour Guide Richard was awesome! a nice mix of scripted and off the cuff. He delivered a well researched tour, with lots of personal stories which made it fun! There was a nice mix of old and new crime stories, but not terribly macabre or sinister. The tour of the city was incredible as well! I learned a lot about Los Angeles in general. I would highly recommend this tour, and will take many more from them when I return to Los Angeles!

We were very grateful and thankful that Dearly Departed tours honored our scheduled tour, as there was only three of us on the tour. We truly enjoyed every min. of this tour. Brain was great, very informative and exciting. We were very lucky that the fires in LA did not block any of our sites. Brain was very capable, animated and enjoyable, we learned/saw so much, not your usual run of the mill tour. Very happy we took this tour.
