Named after the Mormon Pioneer Ebenezer Bryce, Bryce Canyon became a National Park in 1924. Bryce is famous for its unique geology, which consists of a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah. Erosional force has shaped the colorful limestone rock of the Claron Formation into bizarre shapes, including slot canyons, windows, fins and spires called hoodoos. Tinted with colors too numerous and subtle to name, these whimsically arranged rocks create a wondrous landscape of mazes, offering some of the most exciting and memorable walks and hikes imaginable.
Located at the junction of the Colorado Plateau, Great Basin and Mojave Desert provinces in Southwestern Utah, Zion National Park protects 229 square miles (593 square km) of dramatic landscape with sculptured canyons and soaring cliffs. The unique geography and wide variety of life zones within the Park make Zion significant as a place of unusual plant and animal diversity. Discover the natural grandeur of Zion as you admire high plateaus and a maze of narrow, deep, sandstone canyons with striking rock towers. These two national parks are beautiful. The tour was well organized and the gude really attentive to make everyone happy. The van was comfortable. And we have had a perfect weather. Really great day.

My wife and I took the Zion National and Bryce Canyon Tour on Sept 6. It was a long day - about 14 hours. However, the wonder of Zion and the amazing sights of Bryce made it a day that we will always remember. Can not say enough about Peter our guide. He was a delight and new all the best parts of each park to see. He knew exactly where to take the best pictures! Long Day? Yes. Long remembered, definitely.

Overall this was a great tour. We had the privilege of two tour guides of which one was in training. It appeared that the guide that was in training had a greater extensive knowledge of the history of Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park and the states we drove through to get to our destination , than the primary guide. Both guides were very interactive with our group and made sure that we saw as much as possible. It was a long day but well worth it. Our only complaint relates to the tour bus itself. Although it was a Mercedes tour bus (van) it was way too small. Seats were very small ( we’re not large people), no overhead storage or cup holders near the seats. In addition the seat belts cut across our shoulders. All in all it was a good tour and the main complaint was the vehicle- super uncomfortable.

We had an amazing day on our tour to Bryce Canyon and Zion NPs. Our guide, Peter was so knowledgeable. He was a safe driver and very accommodating!

This tour is well worth doing both zion and Bryce canyon are great places too see , the group of people on our trip were all very nice ,I got plenty of photographs, was a good day out

I recently took the small group Tour from Las Vegas to Zion / Bryce Canyon with this tour company.
I have been on a few all day bus tours from Las Vegas with other companies. I must say that this tour was the best for several reasons. Zion / Bryce Canyon were spectacular and the Tour gave us a good sampling of both Parks, stopping at the key points of interest. We also had the right amount of stops on the way there and back for bathroom breaks, stretching your legs and gift shops. The tour company also provides the little things necessary for a long road trip like plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, etc.
However the main reason was our guide, Phillip. Although there are a lot of miles between Las Vegas and the Parks with a lot of stops, Phillip never made us feel that we were in a hurry or behind schedule. Phillip also seemed to genuinely care that everyone got the most out of the Tour at every stop. Folks, this is exactly what you want in a Tour Guide. After all, IT IS YOUR VACATION! Ask for Phillip. -
My husband and myself went on this tour. Two women also were with us. Great tour guide, Mark. Had much knowledge of the area and shared it with all of us during the trip. Enjoyed seeing Bryce and Zion. Totally amazing places, want to share them with my family so we will be back.

Very informative! Answered all our questions! We had a great long day, but both Zion and Bryce Canyon National parks were just breathtaking!
