Your sunset tour of the Grand Canyon West Rim begins with pickup from central Las Vegas hotels. Sit back and relax aboard a luxury coach equipped with TV monitors, reclining seats and wide windows for gazing out at the passing scenery. Listen to live narration from your knowledgeable driver-guide during ride.After about 45 minutes, make your first stop for views of Hoover Dam. Strike a pose in front of the stunning Mike O'Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, part of the Hoover Dam Bypass, and capture photos of this engineering marvel.
Then get back in your seat and continue for about an hour and 45 minutes to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, listening to more information from your guide as you pass ancient Joshua trees and the beautiful Southwest desert landscape. Upon reaching the Hualapai Indian Reservation in the very late afternoon, catch your first glimpse of the Grand Canyon West Rim.
You'll receive a voucher that allows you to enjoy an early dinner at your choice of eateries: a barbecue buffet, the Skywalk cafe or a 'cowboy cookout' at the Hualapai Ranch. Meet the American Indian members of the Hualapai Nation and learn a little about their culture; depending on the availability of the day, you may get the chance to see a traditional dance in full tribal dress or a lively Wild West gunfight show.
Your total time on the West Rim is 3 to 4 hours, depending on the time of sunset. During this time, you can take in different views of the Grand Canyon from two viewpoints, Guano Point and Eagle Point, named after the shape of an eagle people say they see on the canyon walls. Alternatively, have two upgrade options to admire the canyon from different angles (see below).
When it's time for the sunset, gather with your group to watch the sun sink lower and lower toward the horizon. Witnessing one of the world’s most incredible ancient geologic formations turn from daytime to dusk is an experience you don't want to miss.
After the sunset, return to your coach for the drive back to Las Vegas.
Upgrade option: Skywalk
Enjoy dramatic views of the Grand Canyon as you strut across the Skywalk, a glass-bottom platform that extends out over the canyon.
Upgrade option: Helicopter and boat ride
Take an exciting helicopter flight 4,000 feet (1,220 meters) down to the floor of the Grand Canyon, and then board a pontoon boat for a 15-minute ride on the Colorado River.行程概要出發地點
