    This thrilling 3.5-hour Hummer adventure begins as you depart your Las Vegas hotel and travel on trails once used by early explorers. See deserted mines and the ruins of old mining camps. Stop at abandoned mines for plenty of photo opportunities as your expert guides explain the fascinating history of this area. If you are interested, stop at a dry wash for some treasure hunting. More adventurous people may find beautiful mineralized stones or even gold!

    Continue through winding trails in a majestic Joshua tree forest. Joshua trees are unique due to their large size and unusual physical characteristics and are an attractive component of the desert. Climb over obstacles impossible for other vehicles and discover why Hummers meet the strong demands of the U.S. Military.

    Ascend 4,000 feet for a breathtaking view of valleys and mountains! Keep your cameras ready - you may encounter Big Horn Sheep, Wild Burros, Mustangs and even the elusive Kit Fox. Visit the Pioneer Saloon! Built in 1913, it's still open and happy to serve you. See the memorial to Clark Gable's wife, whose plane crashed on Mount Potosi in 1942. Learn the history of this old mining town, turned almost ghost town, and why it's called Goodsprings from your knowledgeable driver-guide.

    FIVE STAR rating!!..........to a girl who lives now in Chicago but spent years in NYC on the east coast and NJ, I was FASCINATED with what I learned and experienced on the Desert Safari Hummer Adventure Tour...out in the desert in a hummer, going off road to view the abandoned gold mines, hearing about how these pioneers lived during those days, spending time close to cacti, desert and nature, visiting the historic Clark Gable/Carol Lombard saloon, visiting the current ghost town, hearing about the water deep below the surface, enjoying the sunset, viewing the mountains, experiencing the climate change as soon as the sun went down, then safely being taken back to Las Vegas. It was nothing short of magical. Thank you so much! The pictures we took are phenomenal!!!!

    Fabulous tour with a wonderful guide. See old gold mines and get to hear some of the history of the area. Culminates at an authentic olde time saloon in a former ghost town where you have ample time for a drink or two before being whisked back to 'Vegas in your air conditioned Hummer.

    To be in a small group out alone in the desert - the silence and desolation was awesome. The mineral deposits around the mines were really interesting - and we had a great guide. Only took half a day so easily fits around sunbathing casinos.
