Stroll around this authentic section of Vegas that's a world away from the slick Las Vegas Strip as your guide explains how Fremont Street originated and what drove early settlers to come here during the Great Depression. Get the lowdown on Vegas' connection to the Mob and how it became a wedding mecca.
    Stop at neighborhood restaurants, ethnic eateries and offbeat food stores, and chat with the owners about their offerings. Sample a diverse selection of local specialties that make for a fulfilling lunch.
    Throughout your tour, your passionate guide points out architectural landmarks, vintage stores and little-known attractions that tie into the rich and colorful history of Vegas. Expect to walk about a half a mile (0.8 km) during your 3 hour tour.     The Downtown Las Vegas Food Tour was amazing... highly recommend! Vickie our Tour Guide was friendly, passionate and extremely informative. We had the pleasure of meeting Andy and Crystal who enjoyed the tour so much they decided to do it again! Thank you to all of the suppliers who took part. The food and drink included was fabulous. In addition we found the sense of community and support of local businesses in the downtown area inspiring.

    This tour was very interesting and I was quite happy with the guide, who included a lot of history into her spiel, the choices, and the off-the-
    beaten path area of East Downtown Las Vegas. Good food too! Walking pace was comfortable and not too much, even for a slow senior citizen.

    You get a ton of food and all of the places are fantastic. We went back to one restaurant the very next day because we enjoyed their wings so much. Our tour guide was great too and told us a lot about the city and its origins.

    So glad we did this tour , Vicky our guide was great and very personable also her local knowledge was amazing and the food tasters were lush.
    TIP do not eat to much for breakfast as the tasters at the first 3 diners are quite big.
    Would recommend this to anyone as a value for money experience.

    What a great tour. Our guide was really knowledgeable! Our only regret is that we did this on our last day in Vegas so we didn't have time to return to the great places we visited.
