Your walking tour of Las Vegas begins at Fremont Street, famous for its appearances in movies, television and postcards. On this adventure through Downtown you’ll cover approximately 3 miles (5 km), so wear comfortable clothes and shoes and prepare for desert heat. Once you meet your knowledgeable guide, make your way along Fremont Street. Listen as your guide explains how the Fremont Street Experience, a pedestrian mall with a $70 million light canopy, helped revive the area in the 1990s.You’ll learn lots of other fun facts about this quirky district as you make your way past where the original pioneers of Las Vegas first stood back in 1905. See photos and listen to stories from the early days of Sin City, and find out how this area earned the name Glitter Gulch.Breeze past the legendary Las Vegas Club, the Golden Gate, the Plaza, the Golden Nugget and Binions. Ogle at the restored vintage neon signs lighting your way. Stop for a photo op in front of Gold & Silver Pawn, home of the History Channel’s popular Pawn Stars show.There will be plenty of other photo stops along the way as you cruise past wedding chapels and monuments. Walk past the galleries, antique shops and retro boutiques of the renowned 18b Downtown Arts District. Learn how Las Vegas became the boxing capital of the world as you stroll by the training gyms of Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes and George Foreman.Just when you think you’ve seen it all, you’ll arrive at Rick’s Restorations, where Rick, Tyler, Brettly and the gang turn rust into gold at the site of the popular show American Restoration featured on the History Channel. The tour ends here, about a mile from the starting point, and you’re free to continue exploring Las Vegas on your own, or you can accompany your guide back to Fremont Street.Please note: Las Vegas tends to be sunny and hot most of the year, so please wear sunscreen and dress for walking for in hot weather. Kelly was great! He showed me a side of Las Vegas that I never knew existed! Loved seeing the before and after pictures of Fremont street. He had so much inside information and great recommendations for dining. I would highly recommend this tour!

The tour was very informative. We learned a little history of Las Vegas, saw some very interesting sights and learned about a lot of "off the beaten path" places in old Las Vegas. Highly recommended. Kelly was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Kelly did a masterful job showing us the real Fremont experience with the hidden gems of downtown Las Vegas. We've come to this city for decades and never knew so much is happening downtown, all good! Anyone who comes to Las Vegas has got to see Kelly for this tour!
