Your 2-hour walking tour begins when you meet your guide on the famed Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. Located in the heart of downtown’s Casino Corridor, Fremont Street can be spotted in famous Las Vegas photos and film scenes.
On this 1.5-mile (2.5-km) tour, you’re also bound to learn things you didn’t even imagine existed off the Strip, let alone Las Vegas. Discover the joys of randomness found in this part of town: a piece of the Berlin Wall in a men’s bathroom, a 19th-century chandelier from the San Francisco Opera House and 1870s street lamps from Brussels.
Check out where Old Blue Eyes and the rest of the Rat Pack used to hang out and walk under the Fremont Street Experience’s canopy of lights in a pedestrian mall while walking past historic casinos like the Golden Gate, Fremont and El Cortez. You might even spot Pawn Stars’ toy appraiser, Johnny Jimenez, tinkering around at the Toy Shack.
For an example in the art of urban revitalization, visit the Fremont East Entertainment District, home to dozens of new restaurants, galleries, entertainment venues and attractions. Explore the Container Park, a shopping and entertainment center built from shipping containers and see the old City Hall, which has been turned into the Zappos headquarters. By the end of the tour you’ll have a fantastic overview of this fascinating corner of Las Vegas.

This was a really well done tour, and our entire family enjoyed it, even our 12-year old son. Our guide provided an ear piece to each of us so he could be heard despite the noise all around us. We learned lots of great info and history, and out of all of the tours we took around Las Vegas, Kelly seemed to be the most accurate and up-to-date with his information. Our only (minor) complaint would be that we got tired of standing by the end of the 2 hours. At least the tour ends in a place you can sit down and find drinks and ice cream and bathrooms very close by!

Enjoyed stepping back in time and learning the story of how Las Vegas began right up to the modern Las Vegas of today. The guide showed us things - like the largest golden nugget - that I would not have seen on my own. I was thrilled to see a side of Las Vegas that many don't get to see. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our walking tour guide Kelly was really knowledgeable and covered the whole history of downtown Vegas. Also gave very helpful insights about good places to visit and tips on where to dine. He was friendly and polite, I highly recommend the tour.

Kelly is an outstanding guide. This was the second time I have taken this tour. I went with a friend this time and wasn't bored repeating the tour because there is so much information packed into it! Loved hearing the history, learning about the casinos, and of course, the great food tips!

Love this tour, I love learning about history of the places i visit and this tour did the job!
We learned things that were never knew about downtown Las Vegas and I have been there plenty of time.
Kelly did a great job of telling us the stories of old Las Vegas and how it all started, while walking around downtown.
The tour is 1.5 miles but it goes very slow as you walk, listen and look, you are wearing an earphone so you can hear everything that Kelly is saying even with the noise of downtown Vegas around you.
In the end Kelly gives you a list of some of the places and things to do that he spoke about, so don't worry if you can't remember everything he says, we also received some coupons and went right away to get the buy one get one free pint of beer, which was really good.
If you have 2-3 hours to kill, want to learn some very interesting history about Old Downtown Las Vegas then this is the tour for you.

Great walking tour which covered the history well and for sure opened our eyes as to how this district has been re-vitalised and is now a vibrant centre once again. Guide was really enthusiastic and looked after the group well.
