Start your boating adventure at the rental office near the beach in South Lake Tahoe. After some instruction on how to operate the boat and a briefing on Lake Tahoe’s boating rules, hop in with your friends or family and set off!
You have one, two or three hours of rental time, depending on the option you select when booking. Cruise around the lake at your leisure, checking out Emerald Bay, Meeks Bay, Rubicon Point, Nevada Beach, Sand Harbor, Skunk Harbor, Crystal Bay or the many other beautiful coves, bays and beaches.
Maybe you want to make your way to one of the lake’s popular restaurants like the Beacon, Gar Woods, Sunnyside or Riva Grill. Or if it’s adrenaline-pumping adventure you’re after, use your boat for wakeboarding, tubing, waterskiing, knee-boarding or other water sports (if you don’t have your own equipment, you may rent gear, including wetsuits, at the rental office when you arrive).
At the end of your allotted rental time, just return the boat to the marina.
Boat options
Class A:- A very popular all-sport family runabout that delivers smooth handling and a comfortable ride; features a large interior layout and lots of storage space to easily accommodate all water sports equipment
- 4.3-liter V6, 190 horsepower; 18.4 feet (5.6 meters); seats 7
Class B:- Boating enthusiasts will be impressed by the value and versatility; features a smooth ride and superb handling, perfect for all types of water sports
- 5.7-liter V8, 250 horsepower; 20.25 feet (6.1 meters); seats 8
Class E:- The biggest option with an open bow and cockpit seating; features convenient rear-access storage trunks and an easy-to-board transom walk through
- 5-liter GXi, 270 horsepower; 21.5 feet (6.5 meters); seats 10

Everything was as described with no surprises. I highly recommend this excursion.
- This was by far my favorite activity during my Tahoe vacation. Not only was the staff super friendly, they were also very informative and made us feel comfortable in using the boat and accessories. I could not have asked for a better experience.

- My friends and I stayed in South Lake Tahoe for a weekend. We rented a boat for a day, which turned out to be the highlight of the trip. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our deckhand made sure he went through all of the instructions thoroughly. He even quizzed us to ensure that we were actively listening. We didn’t have to worry about docking the boat either; they delivered a staff member to drive the boat back for us. It turned out to be a piece of cake. Overall it was the perfect boating experience. I would definitely come back here again!

We had an AWESOME experience! Our deckhand was the nicest guy and I am really bummed I forgot his name. He was kind, knowledgable and very friendly. We had such a great time we stayed out on the boat for an extra time! The boat was clean, in good condition too!
Definitely recommend South Lake Tahoe Boat rental!
