The GA8 Airvan is the ideal plane for touring Kauai's skies. It holds a maximum of six people for an intimate experience and was specifically designed for observational flights it has a high wing design, large windows for optimal photo-taking opportunities, and a slow, stable cruising speed of 125-135 knots.
Soar through the Waimea Canyon before catching your breath as the majestic cathedral spires of the Na Pali are suddenly beneath you. Fly alongside the ridgeline behind the lovely Hanalei Bay, and travel south to see the numerous waterfalls of Hanalei Valley, as well as the crater below Kauai’s Mt Wai`ale`ale. In the winter months, you may even spot whales.
As you fly, your experienced pilot will share with you the rich history and mythical lore of Kauai. Against a background of Hawaiian slack-key music, your state-of-the-art, noise-canceling Bose headset allows for open communication throughout the flight between you and your pilot. Feel free to ask any questions, ask to spend extra time in areas that interest you most or ask to revisit that last waterfall for the best photograph you've ever taken!
You’ll hear expert agricultural commentary from the chief operating pilot and research scientist. At approximately 65-70 minutes, this safe and thrilling experience is the ultimate air tour of the Garden Island.

" Starting in Lihue, you will first see Kipu Kai, the beach made famous by Harrison Ford’s 6 Days and 7 Nights.
" Travel on to see the famous Jurassic Park waterfall in the beautiful Hanapepe Valley (weather permitting).
" Soar over the vast Waimea Canyon, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” as well as the famous Na Pali Coastline.
" Finish off with the lovely Hanalei Bay before heading back to the Lihue Airport.
" The additional time also allows us to show you the numerous waterfalls of the Hanalei Valley as well as the crater below Kauai’s Mt. Waiale’ale.

We did a private family flight, and 2 of our 4 were admittedly nervous about taking the flight. Captain Doug put everyone at ease before we even got into the plane, and kept us informed, smiling, and most of all safe for the entire flight.
Every single minute was appreciated and enjoyed, and the views of the island were beyond heavenly. Take the tour! Your only way to see all of this paradise island! -
So glad I purchased this tour. This is a small family owned company and Marcus our pilot did an awesome job of explaining the the different areas of Kauai that we saw. The pre-boarding information was relevant and quick. I was going to book a helicopter tour but this was way better. It was our first time flying in a small Cessna and the experience was excellent.

What a great day of sightseeing. Everyone was great to us, and o my what a great day to fly with Marcus. Explained in detail every site we flew over. We had our 2 grandkids with us for their first time on the island. We also purchased the in flight video of our flight. Would highly recommend them for any of your future flights over this island.

This was the highlight of our trip to Kauai! The weather didn't cooperate with us most of the trip so we had to keep rescheduling but Doug, our pilot was accommodating working with us so we were able to finally go on the last day of the trip and it was so worth it. Definitely recommend this tour!

This flight was fabulous! Kauai is a beautiful island. It is hard to see by land due to limited access. In only a one hour flight we were able to see most of the island. Flying by plane was more comfortable than flying by helicopter. And it cost less! I would love to do this flight again.

A good overview of the island at a more reasonable price than a helicopter tours.

Pilot was knowledgeable..Great views of the interior of the island...saw whales. It was a little tight in the plane for tall people.

Our pilot Doug was awesome. Besides him , 6 people can fit in the plane. We went over the whole island. It is a great way to see the island. The Na pali coast is accessible by boat or air. It is breathtaking. Must see. A better cost alternative to a helicopter ride. Definitely recommend it.

This truly is the best way to see all that Kauai has to offer. Once you are in the air it is easy to see why Kauai is nicknamed the garden island. Our tour guide was amazing he even had a customized playlist to listen to while we were viewing the island. If you want to see all of Kauai I highly recommend doing this tour.
