When your cruise ship docks at the Juneau port, you’ll be picked up from the cruise terminal and you’ll kick off your Alaskan experience with an informative and entertaining van ride from your Juneau hotel to the heliport to begin your amazing helicopter tour. Board a state-of-the-art helicopter and admire aerial views as you soar over the glaciers of the Juneau Icefield.Landing at a secluded camp on Herbert Glacier, you'll be surrounded by mountain peaks and a vast, ancient snowfield, making you feel like you’re the only group of people in the world. You’ll be greeted by a team of Alaskan huskies for your dogsled ride and have the choice to ride the dogsled runners or stay comfortably seated as your dog team pulls you along the endless fields of snow.Back at camp, hear stories about the famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race from expert mushers. In fact, the owner of the tour company won the Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race, and finished the Iditarod in 2nd place -- all in the same year! You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, snap photos and even dress up in original Iditarod Trail dogsled gear and finishing bibs.When your time on the glacier is over, hop back in the helicopter and savor the views again as you rise up and over the icefield back to Juneau. Upon landing you’ll have the opportunity for final photos and time to warm up before enjoying a return van trip back to your cruise port.The total tour time is approximately 1.5 hours, from liftoff at the heliport to return to the helicopter base. When you land, you’ll be taken back to the Juneau port to board your ship.Worry-free Shore Excursion:We will ensure your timely return to the Juneau port for this activity. Although the dogsledding portion of this excursion was cancelled due to weather, this was a very incredible experience! Sean, the pilot, was great and the scenery was breathtaking! Although very pricey, this is worth every penny!!!

The tour is absolutely amazing... just to clarify i thought the tour was the glacier plus the dogsled and its not... so future clients make sure that if you want to go and stand on the glacier and drink the water and so on this tour will not do it...
STILL, its absolutely amazing i loved it and would do it again

It was awesome! I was hesitant to book it because it was so expensive, but it was so worth it. Our pilot, Casey, was friendly and funny and informative. Our Musher, Jess, was good too. The dogs were great and we will never forget the experience.

The best tour I took in Alaska. This is well worth it! The company is prepared and has boots, jackets and waterproof pants you can use at the camp. The dogs are well behaved and are owned by the guides. Nick our guide was wonderful and his beloved Chase was adorable. The ride there was SMOOTH. Our pilot had been flying for 25 years! The views are unbelievable and breathtaking. BOOK THIS...you will not regret it.

Amazing!, once in a life time experience

We loved it. The helicopter pilot was superb, taking us up and to the glacier as if we were in a 3-D movie. The guide who took us for the dog sledding experience was an intelligent young man, w a great compassion for the dogs. We learned a lot, and we came away with an excellent appreciation for the landscape, the sledding, and the dogs.

We felt like the only people on the top of the world. Heath our pilot was a friendly and informative guide; he also takes good photos and flues a helicopter well! Sadly dogsled ride cancelled due to wether, but no one can fix that! The glacier was stunning. Highly recommended

This was a very fun experience! It was very organized and the people were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the high cost.
