Upon your arrival at the Eaglecrest Lodge, uou'll be outfitted with top-of-the-line equipment and given a safety briefing. Your guide will be there every step of the way to assist you on this exciting adventure. Our tours never exceed a 1:6 guide-to-guest ratio, so you'll receive plenty of attention along the way! As you walk up the scenic staircase, you'll come to the first platform. Once you're clipped into the double cable zipline, you'll glide away from the forest floor and instantly transition from a bear's eye view to a bird's eye view.
During the tour, you'll view the alpine forest and unique flora and fauna from a unique perspective. You can also enjoy the views from our new aerial suspension bridge! With handrails, and being clipped in from above, you'll safely traverse the bridge. Along your journey, you will cross many brooks and meandering streams. The area provides a scenery of old growth trees that are upwards of 400 years old. Get familiar with the sitka spruce and western hemlock trees. If you are fortunate, you may even view local wildlife.
On the final platform, you will land in our new, uniquely designed tree-house. After a guided, interpretive walk back to the lodge, you can purchase a locally brewed beer or fresh lemonade to sip while you watch the video presentation from your tour. You will have an opportunity to purchase additional snacks, beverages, t-shirts, and many other gifts. You may even want to purchase "proof" of your adventure--your own personal photos!
This adventure is a genuine eco-tour. We have built the course in the old growth forest over flowing streams where there is a natural clearing of trees to minimize the impact. Also, we are one of the only "green" tourism operators in Alaska. Our business operates completely on hydro-electric power.
You will have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating eco-systems of southeast Alaska through photographs and narrative. This tour is the perfect choice for a misty day because we provide rain gear, and you will have shelter throughout the rainforest canopy.行程概要出發地點

I was nervous to zipliibe; thinking I was too old (54) and mainly because horror stories from other people saying it was hard to stop in other countries.. . but so excited to do it in Alaska! I was with a group of 9 other people. Including a 14 yr old boy and his grandmother - guessing around 70?
I was nervous but The guides personalities or call me and reassuring. They handled grandmas stress and all of us as well very professionally and maturely despite the youthful guides. They weren’t pushy, they were calm, and they explained everything very well. After the first run, we are all a family. This was and amazing beginner zip line where you didn’t have to worry about anything- including stopping! Pictures were great but pricey ... I am also excited to say I can rock it when it comes to axe throwing!

this was a first time experience for 2 senior citizen. ease of travel to the site was great. Weather that day was sunny . Our guides were Rylie and Maggie and they were fantastic. Very helpful and encouraging. A little nervous at first , but got the hang of the ropes fairly quickly. Would recommend to anyone. We had a great time and would do it again.

For my first zipline experience, it could not be much better.

So fun, everything we hoped for and more! Staff was awesome and we all had a blast! I was with my 50 yo old husband, 23 yo son, 18 yo son, and 16 yo daughter. WE all loved it!

Good excursion. A little much for those who are not athletic. Might do it again. Had fun. Staff had great knowledge about the event, the location, and the history. Worth the money. Caroline and the other guide were excellent.

Douglas Island is beautiful and the zip lining is fantastic. The boat ride to the island is a short, easy hop from the cruise ship dock. Our experience was 100 in the rain, from the time we left Juneau, throughout our zip line adventure, and during our return to Juneau. The rain made the experience a bit more challenging, and at the same time rewarding and memorable. This was our first time zip lining, and I was especially concerned, given my age 71 and a couple health issues. The young, knowledgeable, enthusiastic crew made this adventure very doable and enjoyable. This line culminates with an 800 ft. run you must experience to appreciate. Great experience and would definitely do again.

This was our 4th time zipping in different places. This particular zip was the best so far. Don't miss the opportunity of a life time with this one! Love, love, loved it.

We had much fun and at 75 I was impressed that I did it. My wife went way out of her comfort zone and just champed it. I was and am very impressed with her courage. We will do it again if we ever cruisewhich require some time to save our money. Thank you!
