    Get ready for an exclusive Alaska experience! After pickup from your Juneau hotel, head to Auke Bay for an exciting whale-watching adventure. Every year, more than 65 humpback whales swarm Auke Bay during migration season. On this 3.5-hour sightseeing cruise, admire these beautiful creatures and get an in-depth insight on the surrounding marine life from your naturalist guide as you float around the bay. Additionally, you may be greeted with an extra treat -- bald eagles, harbor seals, porpoises and other sea creatures are known to frequent the area!
    The 48-passenger jet boat is built specifically for sightseeing. As you make your way around the bay, your captain will notify you when whales are spotted. Make sure to take advantage of the extra-large windows, complimentary binoculars and exterior observation deck for spectacular views!

    Peu □ dire sur cette observation: 3 baleines dont 1 seule nous a montr□ une nageoire. Nous sommes rest□s sur notre faim malgr□ l'optimisme du personnel. Peut-□tre y avait-il quelques phoques dans les parages mais on ne nous en a pas parl□. Dommage!

    We were picked up at a correct time from out ship and driven to the tour boat. On the way the driver told us many facts about this location and was very pleasant. The boat was fast and clean and the captain and his first mate did their best to find the whales for us and we got some great pictures. All in all I was very pleased but the tour and would do it again if in the area.

    The tour itself was ok, the staff on the boat were very informative and upbeat. The "administrative end" of it emailed us the wrong time to show up so we missed the morning tour which I preferred the morning. They told us we didn't pay when we called in the 24 hours prior and we had paid. It was just a disaster from the start. I would not want to do this again.

    We were fortunate to have a beautiful day in Juneau and a chance to be on the sea on a relatively calm day. The boat was a new high powered vessel that could get us quickly to sighting of whates before any other craft on the water that day. We saw many humpback whales, sea lions and eages on this tour. We had a great time and the salmon bake afterword was delicious. It is located next to a fast flowing creek with a beautiful view of a waterfall close by. All in all an exellent day in Juneau. Highly recommended!
