Snake River Wildlife Scenic Float
After morning pickup from your Jackson hotel, travel by coach 25 miles (40.23 km) to Wyoming's undulating Snake River. Board your comfortable raft holding up to 10 people and set off from Pritchard Creek. Keep your camera ready as you float past nesting areas for bald eagles and osprey. Your informative guide will talk about the history and geology of this dramatic area and help you spot wildlife including moose, deer and river otters.
As you float 8 miles (13 km) along the Snake River Canyon, sit back and take in the majesty of the breathtaking rock formations all around you. Your 3-hour scenic rafting tour concludes in downtown Jackson before noon.
Snake River Wildlife and Grand Teton Scenic Float
Your tour starts with morning pickup from your Jackson hotel. Climb into your comfortable raft and set off on a 13-mile (21-km) journey that takes you past the Snake River and Gros Ventre mountain ranges. Your route follows a section of the Snake River between Grand Teton National Park and Bridger Teton National Forest.
Listen to your guide share information about the history and geology of Snake River Canyon and the mighty snowcapped Grand Tetons. Watch out for moose wading in the river and osprey diving for food. Depending on your departure time, lunch may be provided to enjoy while taking in the magnificent views. My 12 year old grandson and myself had a beautiful and educational river raft ride with Cassie. She was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the area. We got to see 10 bald eagles -- amazing. Would recommend this trip to all ages.

Boring and not very scenic. Thought we were going to travel next to the Tetons but instead went south by the meadows. Wish I had investigated other trips more thoroughly. Was informed by another travelor that only the raft trips inside Teton national park are permitted to cruise the river inside the park.
