This trip was well organized, had a small group of 8 people and a good driver over uneven sometimes not paved roads. The trip follows the pipeline and it was interesting to learn about this engineering marvel. We were disappointed in how little else we saw on the trip since the tundra is very barren. We thought we would see animals, but only saw 2 ground squirrels. The trip is worthwhile if you love learning about and seeing the pipeline or saying you were at the arctic circle. I thought it was too long, about 12 hours, for what we saw. Definitely not a trip for children.

Went up the Dalton Highway to the arctic circle. Road very bumpy but well worth the time. If you love roller coasters sit in the back. Small van, holding 7 of us. A lot better than big bus. Take a picture of van when you leave, then again at arctic circle. Did not see animals but that is not why I went.

This trip was totally enjoyable. It was a long day but will worth it. I'd love to do it again if I have the chance.

Had a wonderful time. Guide Dave did a great job and very knowledgeable. Would do it again and recommend it to others.

Right up front if you expect smooth roads all the way to the circle you'll be disappointed, but I've travelled on roads far worse. Having said that this was a great experience and an unforgettable journey. You'll gain an appreciation for how vast Alaska really is. Clark was an awesome driver and a top bloke as well, great knowledge and great stories. Getting to the Cicle and then having lunch and refreshments was a nice feature and the well placed comfort and photo stops were appreciated. Highly recommend this tour

Rick was a great guide with a fountain of information and stories. The hot weather in the 80s seemed to keep the wildlife hunkered down for shade but we did get to see a huge bull moose grazing in a pond and got to see his enormous size as he came out onto land. Even had that had not happened, seeing this remote part of Alaska and some of the people who live and work up here was a great experience.

My cousin and I took this trip on June 7, 2018 along with another couple. Dave was our tour guide and the trip was fascinating. The roads were not as bad as I had been led to believe. Dave was very informative as to the pipeline and other stops along the way. We saw a lynx as well as eagles. We had all the time we wanted at stops and also was introduced to the Hilltop truck stop and their unbelievable pie. We did buy pie and enjoyed it after our beef stew at the Arctic Circle. We also stopped at various other places, walked down to the Yukon River and observed owls. Dave answered all our questions, took pictures and told us of the life in Fairbanks and the surrounding areas. I'd recommend this trip to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed this side trip on our motorcycle ride to Alaska. We weren't sure about riding the nearly 100 miles of gravel, but wanted to see and take pictures with the arctic circle sign. Robert was our tour guide, very knowledgeable about the history and uniqueness of the road and surrounding area. Several rest stops, sandwiches and snacks and a tasty stew at the circle picnic area. We stopped at the Yukon river for a few minutes, the local supply depot and enjoyed everything about this tour until we were delivered back to our hotel. Highly recommended, thanks Robert!
