    This private, reservation-only tour includes an extended 60-minute airboat tour in a customized airboat, specially designed for smaller groups. Sawgrass Recreation Park, where your tour departs from, is an easy 25-minute drive from Ft Lauderdale.
    Zipping over the Florida Everglades at speeds of up to 40 miles (64 km) an hour, your 60-minute private airboat tour includes wildlife spotting and entertaining stories from your experienced captain. Hear tall tales and true of the Seminole who lived in this wilderness, and of the panthers who shared their home.
    Then it’s on to the exciting Exhibit areas back at the park to meet the Everglades’ panthers, leopards, Florida gators, turtles, iguanas and other native wildlife for yourself, and learn about the care of these endangered animals. Plus you even get to hold a baby alligator, if you dare!
    For the most in-depth and personal experience, take a small group private tour of the Florida Everglades’ and its unique subtropical ecosystem and animals.
    Important Note: Pricing is based on a per person basis; regardless of number of people booking, you are buying out the whole boat for your private tour ($302.49) All ages are welcome to enjoy the airboat tour. Children 3 years and under need not be included in the guest count as there are no additional charges for this age.

    We all really enjoyed this tour and Captain John was fantastic very knowledgeable of the area and wildlife.

    It was nice having a private boat. We had Captain John who was very knowledgeable about the everglades and loves what he does. We did see some gators but had to look very hard to find them, I expected to see more. There are more birds than gators. The exhibit is very small and could be done in about 1/2 hour.

    We stayed a week at Ft.Lauderdale beach, but THIS was the highlight of our trip. We payed extra for a private 2 hour tour - so it was just the Captain, me and my teenage daughters who, at the beginning wanted to be ANYWHERE but here. But soon, that changed - the captain took us far and wide into the everglades, we witnessed crocs and turtles in the wild, and saw some extraordinary birds. It was exhilarating riding at approx 40 mph on the craft, and the two hours went very quickly. At the end the girls didn't want to get off the boat!

    But we toured the exhibits a while and enjoyed that - especailly holding the baby alligator!

    Thank you Sawgrass Recreational Park - our Captain and the staff. It was a GREAT experience and highly recommended.

    Hej. Vr tur var kl.09:00 den 6 jan 2018 och det extremt kallt. Vi var ensamma - jag och min man. Det var s kallt att man knappt kunde andas. Fraren var pkldd i SKIDORS drkt. D kan ni frst hur kallt var det. Vi var lttkldda - SOLSEMESTER tnkte vi ha! Vi blivit tvungna kpa fleece koftor p plats men det hjlpt vldigt lite. Vi blivit sjuka bde tv. Om VIATOR beskriver aktivitet och vill vara rlig d rekommenderar man att ta med sig vinterdrkt.Vi blivit sjuka bde tv och vr semester som fortsatt i Maimai och p Key West bedmer jag som misslyckat tack vare eran Private Tour. Dessutom sett vi INTE en enda alligator. De kanske hatar kyla ocks ? Jag ska maximalt spridda rykte om det mellan lkarkollegor p sjukhuset.

    Very informative and fun ride! Capitan Charles was able to find us some alligators to get close to, and gave us a lot of information about the glades as well as the area around the glades. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a little more time exploring the area, but still a 5 star!

    Our tour was beyond amazing and our Captain Jim was fun and had tons of info and facts about the Everglades and history about it. We had a chance to see our share of gators. We booked the private tour and we highly suggest it. It made for a more personal experience 5 Stars!
