Your adventure begins with pickup from your Denver hotel or Cherry Creek Shopping Center in central Denver. Head west into the Rocky Mountain foothills aboard your comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Take in sensational vistas around every curve as you travel along Squaw Pass. Stop at Echo Lake Lodge and enjoy lunch with views of the placid azure lake and rugged mountain peaks.
Next, head to Silver Plume, an old silver mining town, and climb aboard the Georgetown Loop Railroad. Take a breathtaking ride on this 19th-century narrow gauge railway more than 9,000 feet (2,743) above sea level. Descend a steep canyon on the train through 4.5 miles (7.2 km) of dramatic mountainous terrain to Georgetown, another silver mining town of yesteryear, and loop back up to Silver Plume.

The drivers are excellent day was packed with things of interest
Cindy at desk should be changed as it was my first experience and we were waiting for fourth five minutes I phoned this lady was not pleasant even told me if I do not want to wait I should get another company
The driver told us he had to pick up client from airport
Cindy was in contact with driver could she just be more friendly and of told me
If I had not prepaid I would of seeker a different company

This was an awesome tour with very experienced and knowledgable tour guide who did an excellent job. My family, from my grand kids to their parents and my wife all thoroughly enjoyed it.

A great day through Squaw Pass, riding the Georgetown Loop, and visiting the small Victorian mining town of Georgetown. Sitting in an outdoor train car, riding through the mountain with spruce and aspen growing tall, seeing the black smoke coming from the engine and hearing that train whistle, all make for incredible memories.

Food at Echo Lake Lodge was excellent even though we had to wait for it. Also, you advertise that tour is limited to 10. There were close to 20 on our tour, but it was still nice. You may want to change your advertisement to say no more than 20 or however many the bus will hold. Had some problems hearing the tour guide and he seemed to mumble a bit. He did pick up the volume, but I had to ask him 2 or 3 different times. Overall, the tour was very enjoyable. Scenery was beautiful.

Viator is outstanding and only represents the best companies! Unfortunately we took several trips with Colorado Sightseer...wish we hadn't. We then took a trip through Viator and cannot say enough about it. Just great! They took us to an incredible restaurant...and everything was included in the trip! Wish we had taken all our trips through Viator!!!! Happy Travels.

Wonderful review of the history of mining and development along the front range. Marc and Cody did a great job!

We had a great time. The bus ride and our bus driver was a great tour guide. We saw all the mountains and rode the train, we enjoyed our meal that day. Overall the trip was well worth the money. We even got to see buffalo on the side of the road.
