Between tastings at seven different locations, your guide will have you feeling like a local as you walk down the tree-lined streets and learn about the history, culture and architecture of the "Windy City." Excellent way to learn about a part of town I'd never been to. Dave S. was an awesome guide and shared a lot of great facts about not only the food but the history of the city. He interacted with each person in our group and was great at answering questions. It was very apparent that the staff in the shops enjoyed seeing him. GREAT pizza at Lou Malnati's and that toffee at the Fudge Pot... YUM!!!!! I'd recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about the area. Thanks Dave!

I was promised a hotel pick up and drop off and not keep promised since I was only one
Bad bad advertising -
We did mention that my daughter had dietary restrictions but food that was not healthy for her to eat was still chopped up and added to meals with no warning, therefore she had an allergic reaction that put a huge damper on our trip. We called immediately after we got back to the hotel but no one ever returned our phone call. We called the restaurant to confirm the ingredients in the meal and they were apologetic but it was too late to do anything. It was not near as fun as other tours we have been on in other large cities. The spice store and chocolate shop were wonderful and were the highlight of the tour. There are better pizza places in Chicago.

Fantastic Tour! Our tour guide Kat was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. We had so much fun and will definitely book another tour next time we are in Chicago!

All I can say is TRY IT!!! My husband and I had a wonderful time and great food. He drank his first ever cup of tea. I had one of the best slices of pizza I have ever had. Our guide was very informative. After the tour, we went back to some of the stores and purchased quite a few of our favorite things. I can't wait to get our family together and do some more of these in other locations.

If you only have time for one tour when visiting Chicago then this is it. You et away from the high rise buildings into a lovely neighbourhood and find out a bit about the history whilst giving your tastebuds the most amazing experience. Jaci our guide was humorous, engaging but most of all made sure we had the best time. If I could score more then 5 I would.

Great tour - starts at a pizza place that I have since seen twice on TV - Lou Malnati's. Tour guide was wonderful, lots of history and information about the local area. Don't eat before the tour - you will be full by the end of it.

As one of my first food tours, this hooded me. She was great - as A personal chief, she had a great talk on all of the local stuff. Learning the history of the area and what makes each food special was wonderful.

We had a good time - tour was worth the time and cost. It would have been interesting to get more historical information on the neighborhoods.
