Enjoyed the tour, guide was great. I give it a 4 only because I should have done during week when more of pedway is open. On weekend parts are closed, not guide fault.... definitely interesting

The tour guide was as entertaining as the tour itself -- a one-woman show! I enjoyed the greetings along the way from the regulars with businesses on the Pedway. The weekday tour has more happening but still was able to learn a lot about the inner workings of transportation in the city --- and how to get around myself!

Tour guide Margaret Hicks is very knowledgeable, animated, and humorous. She expertly explained the many facets of the Pedway and its history, answering many questions raised by members of the tour group. She also marvelously drew in younger children and made them an integral part of the group. I could not have asked for more!

If you want a fun and unique diversion this is the tour for you. Our tour guide, Margaret Hicks, was informative and entertaining and she definitely knows the Chicago Pedway. Check it out: The only thing that I would recommend is that if at all possible you take the tour during the week. Some of the pedways are connected to office buildings that are closed on the weekend. Margaret's enthusiasm and passion for Chicago were evident as she humorously and expertly guided us through part of Chicago's Pedway! We loved our tour of a part of the city we never even knew existed! Highly recommend!

It's an offbeat tour with an offbeat tour guide. We went on a Saturday - some of the Pedway is closed due to the weekend as each section is controlled by the building above the Pedway - nevertheless we saw a good portion - very interesting perspective on Chicago's unknown underground walkway. Nice diversion on a hot day or cold day - I think it would be better on a workday but more crowded. Guide was knowledgeable about the Pedway - history, politics, access and future.
