The tour begins in Downtown Manhattan where you will learn about the beautiful Woolworth Building, as well as City Hall and the Municipal Building. Then spend about 45 minutes learning about and walking over the famous mile-long Brooklyn Bridge. Take time to stop for great photos, learn about the tragedies and triumphs involved in the construction of the bridge and about the incredible role and contributions of the Roebling family. You'll come away knowing all about the "bends".
The second half of the tour is spent in Brooklyn, exploring two very district neighborhoods -- the formerly industrial and now trendy DUMBO and the 19th-century charming, historic district called Brooklyn Heights. Along the way, stop for a nice little treat at a popular DUMBO cafe, then check out the amazing skyline views from the Fulton Ferry Landing in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
This tour combines history, sightseeing, memorable stories, architecture and provides tour participants with a solid understanding of New York and Brooklyn history, as well as the importance of the Brooklyn Bridge (a story we guarantee you won't forget). We had a wonderful time on this tour! My husband and I are local New Yorkers born in Queens and Staten Island. We lived in Brooklyn for a short time over 20 years ago and have been eager to explore this part of Brooklyn! It was my first time walking over the Brooklyn Bridge. And Ryan, our tour guide made the walk and tour come alive with the stories and history he told us! He was excellent! We were completely blown away with how amazing the DUMBO area is today and again Ryan continued to engage and entertain us! We were with cousins from the UK and they were thrilled with the tour and impressed by both Brooklyn and Ryan! I recommend this tour highly! Also, in addition, we were concerned about the weather at the beginning of the day. I contacted Max the ownerdirectly and he was responsive and compassionate. You never know what you'll get when you book on line but this is the real deal! People that clearly want to grow a successful business. They can count on our repeat business!

This was a fabulous tour! Our tour guide Ryan was very funny and animated as he told us the history of the building of the bridge and many other little known facts about Brooklyn. It was overcast that day but the rain held off until we had crossed the bridge and were in Brooklyn Heights. Our group decided to continue the tour in the pouring rain and it was fun, fun, fun.
