Start your mountain bike adventure at the tour office in Bend, where you'll be fitted with a rental bike and helmet. Then take a shuttle to the biking trail chosen by your guide for a low-intensity ride customized for beginner mountain bikers.You’ll cover an approximate 6- to 12-mile (9.7- to 19.3-km) route in about 3 hours, depending on your group’s technique and ability level. Expect mostly flat terrain with some gradual uphill climbs and easy descents that allow you to safely improve your skills.As you ride down singletrack and doubletrack trails through ponderosa pine forests or alongside a creek, enjoy a relaxed pace, and stop when you want to rest, refuel with healthy snacks and take photos. Your guide can carry your camera and gives you a water bottle to keep after the ride.At the end of the tour, you'll ride back to the office for provided Deschutes Brewery beer and Humm kombucha.
